Strength and conditioning at Forge is programmed, not improvised. Your plan is tailored to your goals, your level and your lifestyle, then continuously adjusted so progress keeps coming: strength work for power, conditioning for endurance, and the functional movement that makes both useful in real life and in any sport.
More than 50,000 hours on the mat, across thirty years of teaching. That experience is what separates programming from a workout of the day.
A plan, a coach, and honest progression
Training strategies matched to what you are actually after: strength, endurance, athletic performance, or all three in balance.
Form watched, loads adjusted, effort read session to session. The plan changes as you do, which is the point of having a coach.
Strength work also runs inside personal training and the Women's Only Strength & Kickboxing class. In the City of Naples at Coastland Center, minutes from downtown and Old Naples.

It Starts With an Assessment
Programming starts with a movement assessment: how you move, what hurts, what you have done before, and what you are actually training for. The plan is written from what we find, and as you progress we reassess and adjust.

Strength & conditioning questions
How is my strength and conditioning program built?
Strength and conditioning begins with a consultation and movement assessment before we write your sessions. Your plan is built around how you move, what you are training for, and where you are starting. Two people with the same goal may receive different programs because they did not arrive with the same problem.
Do you train athletes during the off-season?
Yes. Off-season development is part of what we do, and training can be organized around a competitive season.
Can you help runners who want conditioning with less pounding?
We work with runners who want a training experience similar to running without adding the same repeated pounding to their knees and joints. Their program is built around their goals, training history, and how they move.
What if my old training routine stopped working?
We work with people who burned out on commercial gyms or stopped seeing results from their old training methods. We assess how you move, what hurts, what you have genuinely done, and what you are training for, then build the program from what we find.
