Most personal training in Naples happens in studios built around machines. Forge is built around coaching. Your program is written for you, adjusted session to session, and taught by coaches who can take you from a barbell to a heavy bag in the same hour, because strength and striking live in the same room here.

Forge is coach-owned, not a franchise. The person who built the gym is on the floor, and every client is known by name.

More than 50,000 hours on the mat, across thirty years of teaching. That is the coaching depth behind every program we write.

Before the program

Assessment First, Program Second

Every client starts with a consultation and a movement assessment before we write a single session. We look at how you move, what hurts, what you have done before, and what you are actually training for. The program comes from what we find. As you progress we reassess and adjust, because the program that is right for you in week one usually is not the right one in week twelve.

Every coach runs the same assessment, and two clients with the same goal can leave with different programs, because they did not arrive with the same problem.

Personal training questions

What happens in a first personal training session?

Your coach reviews the goals discussed during your consultation and takes you through a session built around your current level. You are coached through each movement and are not expected to know anything beforehand.

Do I need to be fit before starting personal training?

No. Your program starts at your current level and builds from there. Personal training gives you individual coaching, so every exercise can be adjusted to your experience, ability and goals.

Will my program be the same every session?

No. Your coach adjusts the program based on your goals, progress and how you are moving that day. Members specifically note that sessions are tailored rather than repeating the same workout.

How much does personal training cost?

Your consultation is free, and we will tell you the price the moment you ask. Once we understand your goals, schedule and the level of support you want, we will explain the options clearly so you can decide.

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable workout clothes and a water bottle. Nothing needs to be purchased in advance.

Can personal training work alongside classes?

Yes, and we offer hybrid memberships that combine personal training with group classes. It suits anyone who wants the individual attention of private coaching alongside the motivation, community and variety of the classes.

How often should I train?

The right frequency depends on your goals, schedule and starting point. Many clients train two or three times per week. Some train once a week and complete their own work between sessions, while others train more often for a specific goal.

How does personal training start?

Personal training begins with a complimentary 20-30 minute consultation. You meet a coach, talk through your goals, learn how we train and decide which program fits before any training session is scheduled.
