Women's Kickboxing in Naples, strength built in

Real striking, taught properly, with strength work built into every session.

First class free · or call or text (239) 799-KICK

This is not cardio kickboxing and it is not a circuit class with gloves on. You will learn stance, guard, footwork, and how to actually throw a punch, from coaches who have spent decades teaching it. Small groups, so your form gets corrected instead of overlooked.

Every fitness level is welcome. You do not need any experience, and you do not need to be in shape first. That is what the coaching is for.

This is the only Naples program combining women's kickboxing with real strength training in coach-led small groups.

Inside the hour

What a class actually looks like

Our Tuesday and Thursday Women's Only Kickboxing class starts with a dynamic warm-up, followed by a strength and conditioning circuit to get your whole body working.

Then we move into coached rounds on the heavy bags, practicing stance, guard, footwork, and combinations, with core work mixed between rounds. Your coach watches your technique, helps you make adjustments, and guides you at a pace that fits your level.

The format changes from session to session, while the bag work stays focused on the fundamentals. We finish with stretching and a cooldown to bring the hour to a close.

Neither women's class includes sparring or pad-holding.

A place to train

Why women-only, and why here

If you prefer training alongside other women, both classes give you that setting within Forge's wider coaching community. Beginners are welcome, and coaches adjust the work to your experience and current fitness.

Forge brings martial arts instruction and fitness coaching together. You'll learn proper striking technique and get guidance through the strength work, with someone watching how you move and helping you improve.

We want you to learn something each class, enjoy the work, and feel comfortable asking questions. Our coaches and staff want you to feel welcomed, seen, and appreciated, whether it's your first class or you've trained here for years.

For the family

Training for you and your family

Your children can train at Forge too, with kids and youth programs at Coastland Center built around their age and experience.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Kids MMA starts at 4:00pm, Youth MMA at 4:45pm, and Women's Only Kickboxing at 6:00pm. These are separate class times, so check the schedule and plan for each member of your family.

If mornings fit your week better, Women's Only Strength & Kickboxing runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00am.

Questions women ask first

Do the women's kickboxing classes include sparring?

No. Women's Only Kickboxing does not include sparring, and you will never be expected to spar or fight. Training uses heavy bags, strength equipment, body-weight and calisthenic movements.

I have never worked out before. Will I be able to do this?

Yes. You can start with no workout or kickboxing experience. Coaches adjust the training to your level, and you work at your own pace from day one. One member who began with no training background says she is in the best shape of her life at 60.

Will I be the only woman in the class?

No. Women's Only Kickboxing and Women's Only Strength & Kickboxing are both women-only programs. You will train alongside women with different experience and fitness levels, and beginners are welcome.

Am I too old to start?

No. Women in their fifties and sixties train with us. Coaches adjust the work to your current fitness level, and you build from there.

Is this a real workout, or a watered-down class?

It is a real workout. Members describe it as challenging and empowering, and one puts it plainly: it is hard, and you will sweat.

Do you offer childcare?

We do not offer on-site childcare at this time. We run a variety of class times through the week, and many members train while their children are in one of our youth martial arts classes.

What do I need to bring to my first class?

Comfortable workout clothes and a water bottle. We have loaner gloves for your first class, so there is nothing to buy in advance.

Is this self-defense training?

It builds practical striking skills that support self-defense, but the class is designed around fitness, skill and confidence. We do not use fear to sell training. For dedicated training, see women's self-defense.
